the facts
I am a commercial, editorial and fine art photographer based in Portland, Maine. I grew up in northwestern Connecticut and graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, with a B.A. in English in 1991. I spent 11 years in Washington, D.C., including four as a photojournalist and photo editor for a weekly newspaper, before returning to Maine in 2003. Working on a freelance basis for a variety of local and national publications and organizations, I am available for a wide range of photography, and photo editing or photo research, projects. I approach each new assignment with a unique vision and unflagging determination to produce the best results possible.
